Frequently Asked Questions About Our Vehicle Hire

We accept drivers from the ages of 25 to 70 who have no medical problems. For persons over 70 or for persons with disabilities, we can try and arrange with our insurance company to work out an economic quote.

Most vehicles as booked by our customers are available, but in case the specific vehicle is not available, we shall provide a vehicle of equivalent grade or higher grade at the same agreed price.

Bookings once made can be cancelled by giving us a minimum of 7 days notice. The amount paid at the booking time will be refunded after deducting a admin charge equivalent to 5% +VAT of the total booking value.  Cancellations between 7 days and 4 days will entail an admin charge as stated above plus a cancellation charge of 25%. For cancellations between 4 days and 1 day a charge of 50% of the full booking amount plus the admin charge as stated above shall be deducted, and for cancellations within 24 hours, no refund shall be given.

These are payable by the hirer on actual usage by them as required by the law.

We do not have any CDW clause applicable on our hire contracts.

Specific cover for insurance and Rescue / Recovery will have to be obtained and all extra premiums / charges shall have to be paid  prior to allowing the vehicle to be driven overseas. For mini busses, a TACHO CARD has to be obtained by the driver from DVLA and shown to us before we process the requirement for insurance etc for minibuses for continental use.

An amount equivalent to 3 times of daily rental will be charged for vehicles returned later than the scheduled return time shown in the rental agreement. We also reserve our right to inform the police of the vehicle having gone missing if either the hirer doesn’t contact us and inform us about the delay or attempts by us to contact the hirer have within 30 minutes of the scheduled return time have not resulted in any response from the hirer.

A pre authorisation deposit only on Credit or Debit card is held for a maximum of 10 days from the start of the hire agreement. We do not accept cash deposits. Deposit of £ 500 is pre authorised for drivers who are UK licence holders and £ 750 for non UK licence holders.

We have an excess of £ 1000 for any damage to the vehicle when on hire. For non UK licence drivers the excess is £ 1500.

We offer a discount of 10% for personals ( hirer or driver ) belonging to POLICE, FIRE SERVICES, ARMED FORCES, DOCTORS AND NURSES and STAFF OF ANY FOREIGN EMBASSY on production of a valid ID establishing their employment with the above. A copy of the ID shall be retained by us.

It is our policy to give the vehicle with full tank fuel and the hirer has to return the vehicle full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a filling charge of £ 30.00 plus VAT and the actual cost of fuel needed to fill up will be recovered from the hirer.

All our vehicles are insured for the hire purpose and all details as required by the underwriters shall have to be provided by the hirer before commencement of the hire.

A full UK licence is required and held for a minium of two years. Licences issued in some other countries can also be accepted. If there are any endorsements on the licence, then a specific approval will be needed from the underwriters before the vehicle is handed out for hire. Please check with us on phone or e mail about acceptable licences and endorsements.

We offer 100 miles per day included in the rental price. Additional miles will be charged  from £ 0.25p plus VAT per mile. For rentals for a period over 14 days, the mileage is unlimited.

Minimum hire is for 1 day

Bookings can be made online by sending us an email.

Our working hours Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6pm, Saturdays from 8.30am to 3pm and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. We remain closed on New Year's day, Christmas day and Boxing day.

We follow a strict payment policy. No vehicle goes out of our premises without payment for the full duration of the rental being received by us. This can be in cash or by card.

This will be followed strictly as per what is mentioned in the rental agreement. Point 7 will apply for delayed returns.

These should be notified to us and confirmed by us at least 48 hours before the scheduled return date and time.

Refunds as stipulated in point 3 above will be made within 28 days of the sanction date.

Our excess clause as per point 9 above will be strictly applicable. Customers should check the vehicle carefully before commencing the hire and sign the Damage Report Form regarding the condition of the vehicle when starting the hire.

All penalties for any driving / parking offence will be to the hirer;s account. An admin charge of £ 50 plus VAT per offence shall be charged by us for each offence as and when it get reported to us by the law enforcement agencies.

Photo card and counterpart driving licence plus 2 forms of address ID (utility bills or current bank statement or council tax bill), and credit or debit card is compulsory to be seen and copied by us before pick up. Passport in case of licence being issued in any country other than UK is also required.
